§ 78-162. Scope of article.

(a)

This article shall apply to the division of acreage parcels as well as lots forming part of a subdivision regulated by the Michigan Subdivision Control Act, Act No. 288 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1967 (MCL 560.101 et seq., MSA 26.430(101) et seq.), as amended, the city zoning ordinance and this chapter.

(b)

Any real property division, which has not been first approved by the city planning commission, will not be a valid division of such property under the terms of this article; and any parcel of real property, which has not received approval by the city planning commission pursuant to the provisions of this article, will not be placed on the city tax rolls as a separate and individual parcel of property.
